You'll find that the seat of your pants will wear out a little bit quicker (this is very hard to notice though, something that occurs over years rather than months). The seat material of Aeron and Mirra chairs can be somewhat abrasive.You also want to test the levers, as they are cable actuated and in some instances can wear out a bit. You can tell what size it is by feeling on the back of the chair, underneath the uppermost ridge - there are little dots in under there, 1 dot for small, 2 for medium, etc. Make sure you sit in them first, as they have multiple sizes (S/M/L) for different sized frames. They are both relatively expensive and you can almost always find them in very good condition for a significant discount off retail on Craigslist. I have an Aeron at home and a Mirra at work.
